At Puppy Powers, we are intentionally different than your typical canine facility — and we really like it that way.
Everything we do is built around Dog-Centric Care, Owner-Centric Customer Experience, and our proprietary Anywhere Dogs™ Framework - a real-world approach to developing dogs who can confidently, safely, and calmly exist anywhere life takes them.
We are focused on developing functional communication, emotional regulation, resilience, neutrality, engagement, adaptability, and trust between dogs and humans enabling them to confidently go anywhere and do anything together, as a team.

Our Services
Playdates & Sleepovers
Your dog's vacation shouldn't mean taking a vacation from good habits.
At Puppy Powers, Sleepovers are designed to provide a calm, structured home environment where dogs can relax, decompress, and continue practicing the skills that help them succeed in everyday life. We intentionally keep our guest list small so every dog receives individualized attention, thoughtful management, and care tailored to their personality and needs.
Guests spend their days enjoying our home, secure fenced yard, enrichment activities, and carefully selected social time when appropriate. Every interaction is purposeful, from mealtimes and rest periods to leash walks and cooperative care. Dogs are never expected to simply "figure it out" in a crowded kennel environment.
Each dog has their own private sleeping space to ensure safe meals, quality rest, and a comfortable experience, while our home-based setting allows us to provide the consistency and supervision that many dogs need to truly settle in.
Whether your dog joins us for one night or an extended stay, our goal is simple: send them home happy, confident, and just as enjoyable to live with as when they arrived.
Individual Training

At Puppy Powers, we teach dogs how to succeed in the real world. Whether you're dreaming of peaceful walks, relaxed visitors, enjoyable patio dinners, veterinary appointments without stress, or simply a dog you can take anywhere with confidence, our training is designed to build the skills that make those moments possible.
Our Anywhere Dog™ framework develops the whole dog through engagement, emotional regulation, environmental neutrality, leash literacy, and functional obedience. Commands are important, but they're only one piece of the puzzle. We focus on teaching dogs how to think, recover, make good decisions, and communicate with their handler in any environment.
Our programs include Individual Lessons, Playdate & Learn, and immersive Board & Train experiences. Individual Lessons teach you how to teach your dog. Playdate & Learn allows us to build skills through repetition while your dog enjoys a structured day with us, followed by coaching so you can continue the progress at home. Board & Train accelerates learning through intensive daily practice before we transition those skills back to you.
Whether you're raising a new puppy, navigating adolescence, or helping an adult dog develop better habits, we'll build a customized plan that fits your goals. Because at Puppy Powers, we're not just teaching dogs to obey—we're helping them become calm, confident companions who can go anywhere life takes you.
Spa Services
At Puppy Powers, grooming is about far more than looking good. Every appointment is an opportunity to build confidence, cooperation, and trust through thoughtful, low-stress handling.
Whether we're trimming nails, brushing a coat, cleaning ears, or completing a full groom, we teach dogs to calmly accept the care they'll need throughout their lives. Using clear communication, positive reinforcement, and patient handling, we help dogs become more comfortable with touch, restraint, grooming tools, and routine wellness care.
The result is more than a clean dog—it's a dog that's easier to groom, more relaxed at the veterinarian, safer to handle, and better prepared for everyday life. Healthy coat. Healthy skin. Healthy habits.

About
My name is Gina and I LOVE dogs!
A lifelong animal lover, I grew up on and around farms and have raised, trained, and successfully shown both dogs and horses since childhood. Over the years, I’ve worked hands-on with an extraordinary range of animals—from hamsters to hogs, parrots to peacocks, geckos to guinea pigs, and even antelope. No dog is too big or too small.
I’ve logged countless hours in animal shelters, veterinary offices, and traditional kennel environments, gaining firsthand experience with both exceptional care—and the gaps that too often exist. Those experiences shaped a long-standing dream: to create a home-based, chemical-free, low-stress care environment for pet parents who want something better for their dogs.
My approach to dog care, grooming and training is grounded not only in experience, but in education and systems-level thinking. I hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Biochemistry and Biophysics, and an MBA. I spent more than 15 years leading and scaling large, complex businesses ($100M+ revenue) in corporate America—often with a heavy travel schedule—so I understand, deeply, what it’s like to entrust your animals to someone else and how much trust that requires.
That background influences everything we do at Puppy Powers. Care here is intentional, structured, and thoughtfully designed—because dogs thrive in environments where expectations are clear, stress is minimized, and both physical and emotional needs are respected.
I have over 20 years of experience developing great canine partners and have worked extensively with Sporting, Hound, Terrier, Working, Toy, Herding, and Non-Sporting breeds. My dogs and those who have graduated from our programs have earned multiple AKC certifications and titles, including Canine Good Citizen (CGC), CGC Advanced, Urban CGC, and AKC Trick Dog. We specialize in puppies, high-drive breeds, functional obedience, and behavioral rehabilitation. Our goal is simple: to create functional, real-world obedience that allows people to live seamlessly with their dogs, developing Anywhere Dogs™ who can go anywhere, adapt to any environment, and be with anyone.
In addition to canine work, I practiced natural hoof care for many years and have completed both human and animal anatomy coursework as well as Emergency Medical Technology, further strengthening my understanding of biomechanics, movement, and physical well-being.
At Puppy Powers, we design every aspect of the experience with care—for your dog and for you. Our goal is not just to meet expectations, but to exceed them—through transparency, professionalism, and truly individualized care.
